Integrating WebSked with Slack

Use the Integrations page in WebSked settings to connect with third-party messaging applications and receive automated notifications about your content workflow progress.

This guide lets you connect WebSked with Slack to receive notifications.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following prerequisites to complete the integration process:

  • WebSked administrator access

  • Slack workspace administrator rights

Procedures

To add a new Slack integration, complete the following:

  1. Navigate to the WebSked application. The WebSked page opens.

  2. Click your username in the top-right corner > Company > Integrations. The Integrations page opens. 

  3. Click Add to Slack. The Slack authorization page opens.

  4. On the Slack authorization page, grant the WebSked Slack app permission to post messages on your workspace.

    Note

    You typically need only one Slack integration for your organization. Check with your platform administrators if additional actions are required.

  5. On the redirect page, enter your Arc XP organization ID.

    • For non-Production environments, use the following format: sandbox.<your-arc.id>.

    • For production environments, use the following format: <your-arc.id>.

    Important

    Clear the Remember URL checkbox if you plan to add multiple Slack integrations.

If you encounter issues with the Slack integrations, complete the following:

  • Delete all cookies and try the integration again, clearing the Remember URL checkbox.

  • Delete only the Arc-Domain cookie.

  • If you want to remove a Slack integration, open an Arc XP Customer Support ticket and specify which integration to remove.
