Configuring Chartbeat content analytics
Use the Chartbeat page in Global Settings to configure Chartbeat content analytics on your websites.
Chartbeat content analytics is a tool that provides real-time data about how audiences are engaging with your content. It shows metrics like page views, time spent on the page, and traffic sources, helping editors and content creators make quick, informed decisions to optimize content and increase audience engagement.

Prerequisites
You must have a Chartbeat account with an API key.
Add the Chartbeat JavaScript code snippet to your website to capture analytics.
You must have the following permissions, depending on what actions you want to take:
Add analytics settings - allows you to configure Chartbeat for your websites.
Delete analytics settings - allows you to remove a Chartbeat configuration.

Procedures
To configure Chartbeat content analytics for your websites, follow these steps:
Navigate to Global Settings.
Click Analytics > Chartbeat. The Chartbeat page opens displaying a list of all the websites in your organization.
Complete the following fields for the websites you want to configure Chartbeat content analytics for:
API Key - enter your Chartbeat API key.
Host domain - enter the domain of your website exactly as it appears within Chartbeat.
Click Save Settings.
To remove a Chartbeat integration you no longer need, follow these steps:
Navigate to Global Settings.
Click Analytics > Chartbeat. The Chartbeat page opens displaying a list of all the websites in your organization.
Click
on the row for the Chartbeat configuration you want to remove.
