How to Locate X-Arc-Request-Id and X-Arc-Pb-Request-Id

Summary

Use this procedure to locate the Arc XP Request ID, X-Arc-Request-Id, and PageBuilder Request ID X-Arc-Pb-Request-Id. These IDs provide Arc XP with important troubleshooting information and you may be requested to provide these by ACS or other Arc XP staff. This is especially useful in cases, for example, when Arc XP is displaying an error in the browser.

Procedure

  1. In the browser, navigate to the location on your site that is presenting the problem requiring that the IDs be collected.

  2.  Right-click on the page and click "Inspect"

  3.  Select the Network tab.

  4.  Refresh the page.

  5.  To the right of the filter select "Doc". This step makes the correct document easier to find.

  6.  The correct doc, is usually, though not necessarily the first in the list. Holding the mouse over the doc should show the URL initially requested.

  7. Click on and examine that doc, and scroll until you see Response Headers

  8.  Near the bottom of Response Headers you should find the ID's X-Arc-Request-Id, and X-Arc-Pb-Request-Id copy both ID's and provide them to ACS.

Note

Request IDs are only valid for 48 hours
