Defining a time zone
Use the Timezones page in Global Settings to configure time zone information and time-hour format for your organization. Arc XP uses what you configure in Global Settings as the default time zone for displaying dates and times across applications.
For example, in Composer, the time zone you configure in Global Settings appears in the Timezone for displaying dates & times field and is used as the reference for all date and time displays within the application. Users cannot edit this timezone directly in Composer. An administrator must manage the time zone setting through Global Settings.
When creating a scheduled virtual channel in Video Center, you must select a date and time. By correctly configuring your time zone in Global Settings, you ensure that content plays at the right time for your audience. Correctly configuring your time zone is crucial for organizations coordinating video programming across multiple regions or time zones, as it helps maintain a consistent and reliable viewing experience worldwide.
