How to secure RSS feeds using a key

Summary

Secure an RSS feed in Arc XP by using a key parameter configured within a resolver. This results in a resolver matching only when the specified parameter is included in the URL.

Procedure

  1. Create or edit a resolver for the RSS feed in Arc XP.

  2.  Add a URL parameter, for example, key, with a value of the desired key.

  3. Select the Required option for the configured parameter.

  4. Click Update to save the resolver.

  5.  Include the new parameter in the URL to access the RSS feed using the newly configured resolver.

In addition to key, resolvers support the following parameters:

  • _id

  • url

  • branch

  • size

  • limit

  • published

  • token

  • revision_id

  • format

  • sort

  • pagebuilder

  • from

  • summary

  • slug

  • fulltext
