Why do I see unpublish events in Composer revisions?

When looking at the revisions for an article in Composer 2.0 we often see unpublished events alongside each publish event.
Answer
The Draft API creates a new draft revision after each published update, keeping the draft's last_updated_date older than the published version. It does not unpublish the story, however it adds a new draft.
