Audio Center

Overview

Audio Center is a new media management hub within Arc XP that enables editors to upload, search, and manage audio assets (MP3, WAV) directly in the platform.

A beta version of Audio Center is now available as a Sandbox preview. This early-access phase focuses on delivering foundational audio management capabilities and gathering customer feedback prior to beta becoming available in production in early 2026.

This release lays the groundwork for future enhancements, including AI-powered text-to-speech.

What's Included (Sandbox Beta)

The Beta phase for Audio Center focuses on giving editorial teams fundamental audio workflows inside Arc XP. You can:

1. Upload Audio Files

Audio Center supports direct upload of:

  • MP3

  • WAV

Uploads are managed through an intuitive interface designed for newsroom workflows.

2. Manage Audio Assets

Audio Center provides a centralized way to organize and track audio content:

  • View all audio assets in a dedicated library

  • Search and filter by metadata

  • Edit metadata at any time

  • Replace files or update details as needed

3. Insert Audio Into Composer

Editors can embed uploaded audio directly into story bodies using Composer’s native tools.

4. Render Audio Player on the Front End

Audio files can be played on the reader-facing site.
