Configuring tag settings
Use the Tags Settings page to allow users to create tags from Composer, Photo Center, and Video Center.
From the Global settings page, you can define how your organization uses tags between the following two Arc XP's supported workflow models:
Closed model - manages a predefined list of tags. Users creating content in Composer, Photo Center, and Video Center can only search for, select, and add tags from this list. Arc XP recommends using this model.
Open model - allows all Composer users to enter one-time tags on any article. One-time tags do not appear on the Tags page, but users can still select tags from the predefined list.
Prerequisites
To configure tag managing settings, you must have:
the Create Tags, Configure Tags, Edit Tags, and Delete Tags permissions. See ???.
An administrator needs to configure tag permissions for their Editor role, allowing local news editors to create tags.
The News Co. administrator logs into the Permissions application and configures only the Editor role permissions to allow the creation, configuration, editing, and deletion of tags.
The Editor role connects to the Global Editors squad, which grants permission to manage tags across all News Co. websites.
After the administrator saves these changes, local news editors can log in and create tags to categorize their content.
Procedure
To define your organization's workflow, complete the following:
Navigate to the Global Settings application. The Global Settings page opens.
From the left pane, click Tags > Settings. The Tags/Setting page opens.
Choose one of the following actions:

Check the Allow users to create tags from Composer, Photo Center, and Video Center option to define the Open model.
Click save.
Users must log out and log back into your organization to activate the new tag permissions.
