Using PageBuilder integrated search

Use PageBuilder Editor's integrated search features to streamline content curation. These features allow you to perform direct searches of galleries, photos, stories, and videos within the Curate workspace, eliminating the need to switch between multiple applications and making the curation tasks more efficient.

To use integrated search capabilities, you must configure different services in your bundle. Each search type requires a specific setup to function properly within PageBuilder Editor.

Prerequisites

To learn how to set up these integrated search capabilities within your configuration, see the following developer documentation: How to Enable Integrated Gallery Search for PageBuilder Editor. How to Enable Integrated Gallery Search for PageBuilder Editor

You also need access to the origin application, such as Composer, Photo Center, Video Center, and WebSked. For more details, see Setting default permissions for users.

As an editor of a news organization, you need to optimize the time you and your team spend on curating real-time stories.

After talking with your development team and enabling the integrated search functionality for stories, photos, and galleries, you and your team are able to quickly curate galleries, recommended articles, and other custom-built blocks without leaving the PageBuilder Curate workspace.

This efficient approach to editing allows you to save time and serve your readers interesting content, while diminishing the cognitive load of your team of editors by avoiding switching applications.
