Why is Site Section not updating?

Symptoms

  • After updating a section and saving (with no errors), the changes made are not reflected for the section.
  • This also happens with Links

Cause

Alias IDs are a duplicate of the section’s path

Solution

  1. Check the network requests to see if the error returned if any.
  2. Remove any duplicate alias IDs.
  3. Fix other issues that might be indicated in the error from the network request.
  4. If the issue still persists, create an Arc XP Customer Support ticket.
