Themes 2.0 - Blocks Styling Figma Library
Figma Blocks Library
The PageBuilder Blocks Styling Figma Library includes details on our style guidelines, components, and blocks. This allows you to design mockups for your Arc XP and custom blocks, before handing off these styles to developers applying them in your blocks.json. At this time, a Figma styles integration to blocks is not supported, but we are capturing interest for this feature.
Create a copy
As of October 17, 2025, Arc XP has deprecated customer access to and branching of the Arc-managed Figma Themes Design System file, so Arc design seats can be limited to Arc XP employees. Duplicating the file into your own organization's Figma account is now the only supported way to work with it.
To get started:
Create a Figma account for your organization, if you don't already have one.
Use Figma's Duplicate option to create your own copy of the PageBuilder Blocks Styling Figma Library.
Maintain your duplicated copy within your own account going forward.
This method also lets you modify tokens and component styles based on your needs. However, a connection to the Arc-managed library is not maintained — each time the Arc library is updated, you'll need to copy the updates individually or create a new copy of the entire file. Read more about creating file copies here.
If you were unable to create a Figma account before October 17, 2025, you can download the Themes Block Styling 2.0 Figma file (.FIG) to your computer and open it once your account is set up.
For full details on this change, see Figma Themes Design System access and workflow.
Figma updates and Themes releases
Occasionally, a Figma file update is necessary to incorporate changes in our Themes block. For example, if there are any design modifications to a block, the Themes Block Styling 2.0 Figma file will be updated to reflect these changes and serve as the specifications for the components and blocks. These updates will be detailed in the change log below, as well as the Themes release notes. To maintain consistency with our blocks library, we recommend integrating these updates into your organization's maintained library as outlined above.
