Arc Intelligence’s Starter package equips you with the following AI-powered tools:
Summarization - condenses story content into 180 words or fewer. You can edit the summary and send it directly to Composer, where it populates the Description field in the Planning tab.
Headline and subheadline generation - select from AI-suggested headline and subheadline options based on story content and insert them with a click. Headline generation is available in both the AI Editor extension and natively in Composer.
Recommended tags - choose from an automatically generated list of relevant tags, which you can edit as needed.
Social post generation - create platform-specific social posts optimized for tone and length.
Key takeaways - extract key points from your article to serve as a reader-friendly summary or internal reference.
SEO keywords - generate a list of SEO-friendly keywords to improve search visibility.
Open prompt - input custom queries or commands, leveraging your article’s content as context.
Admin console - customize Arc prompts or create new prompts to align with your organization’s editorial strategy.
The Core package includes everything from the Starter package, as well as the following AI-driven tools:
Translations - instantly translate headlines and body copy into any language, and then seamlessly copy them into a new story.
Audio articles (Text-to-Speech) - convert written stories into high-quality audio versions with text-to-speech functionality.
The Advanced package includes everything from the Starter and Core packages, as well as the following AI-driven tools:
Recommendations (Vectors) - automatically suggest relevant published articles as Related Stories to keep readers engaged.

Prerequisites
Arc Intelligence is an add-on feature available with an additional license. To activate Arc Intelligence in your Arc XP environment, contact Arc XP Customer Support.
After Arc Intelligence is enabled in your environment and before you use it, you must have the AI User permission. See Managing roles.
Note
Provisioning, permissions, and AI settings are environment-specific (Sandbox or Production) and do not carry over automatically. To use Arc Intelligence in multiple environments, you must configure the feature separately in each environment.
