Getting Started with Arc XP Subscriptions and Mobile SDK Commerce Module
The Arc XP Mobile SDK team is happy to announce the availability of the Commerce Module for iOS and Android Mobile SDK, in addition to the long-available JavaScript web SDK. This article and the related documentation references Arc Commerce frequently, but this SDK also work with Arc Subscriptions. This beta release of the Commerce Module primarily focuses on the Identity offering within Arc Subscriptions, but a few Sales-related SDK methods are available today and more will be added in the coming months. The Legacy Mobile SDKs have been combined into a single SDK containing commerce / subscription / video / content The mobile SDK offer the following capabilities:
Register User
Login: username/password, Facebook, Google, Apple
Update profile
Update password
Reset password
Request and redeem a one-time access link
Request and redeem email verification
Fetch the current user’s info
Logout
Request and approve/reject account deletion
Supported platforms Android, iOS In addition to the SDK, Arc XP has example apps for each platform that allows you to inspect how the SDK can be used in practice. This example app is also the best way to demonstrate any issues you might run into for support purposes. We currently have News Sample app displaying identity and paywall examples. Roadmap This beta release is just the beginning. The Arc XP team is hard at work adding additional capabilities across both platforms and will be releasing updates throughout the year.
