Composer overview

Composer is Arc XP’s content authoring tool that serves as your centralized hub for your website content. By integrating drafting, editing, and publishing functionalities, Composer lets you combine all the content elements you manage in Arc XP, like photos, videos, galleries, and more, to create a world class content experience for your readers. 

Composer is highly configurable, which enables you to tailor Composer to your organization’s processes. However, the options are extensive, so for admin users, we recommend familiarizing yourself with Composer settings. 

Beyond simply authoring content, Composer also integrates with a variety of other Arc XP apps, enabling you to manage your content life cycle from beginning to end. Photo Center and Video Center store your visual content that you can add to your Composer stories. WebSked lets you plan and execute your content strategy, ensuring your team remains aligned. And PageBuilder and Themes define how your content appears on your site. 

But Composer’s ultimate purpose is to author content. Use the following documentation to familiarize yourself with Composer’s features so you can create content as seamlessly as possible.
