Using the AI Editor extension
Use the AI Editor extension to access most of the features available to you in the Starter, Core, or Advanced packages of Arc Intelligence.
Prerequisites
Arc Intelligence is an add-on feature available with an additional license. To activate Arc Intelligence in your Arc XP environment, contact Arc XP Customer Support.
After Arc Intelligence is enabled in your environment and before you use it, you must have the AI User permission. See Managing roles.
Note
Provisioning, permissions, and AI settings are environment-specific (Sandbox or Production) and do not carry over automatically. To use Arc Intelligence in multiple environments, you must configure the feature separately in each environment.
Install the AI Editor Chrome extension. See Installing the AI Editor Chrome extension.
Procedures
You can download the Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store. It works on Chrome and Microsoft Edge, which uses Google Chromium.
Some Arc Intelligence features are available natively within Composer, like headline and tag generation, but most features are available only from the AI Editor extension.
To launch the extension, click the AI Editor icon in the lower-right corner of the page.
The AI Editor lets you configure several items related to saving recent prompts and tag creation.
Navigate to Composer.
Open any story.
Click the AI Editor icon
.
Expand the General settings section.
Edit the following settings:
Save recent prompts - enable this option for the editor to save prompts you enter into the free text box.
Allow user to create tags - enable this option for the AI Editor to generate tags relevant to your story even if they aren't predefined. Disable this option for AI Editor to use only predefined tags.
