Link Options Inside of Composer
Composer has the following options to cross-reference content and add links within a story.
Simple Hyperlink
Within the Composer Editor you can highlight any text and add a hyperlink to it using the in-line text editor.

Composer supports only absolute links. From the link modal, you can edit the display text, change the URL, and choose whether the link should open in a new tab.
Interstitial Content Element
An interstitial content element highlights one link. When adding an interstitial content element, you must add a URL to link to and text that will be hyperlinked.

This is an example of an interstitial link in the Compose tab.
Note
The brackets are shown only in the Compose tab to distinguish them from a paragraph element with one hyperlinked sentence.

Link List Content Element
The link list content element lets you curate a group of links at any spot in the story. From the link list editor modal, you can add as many links as you like. You can drag and drop using the six square icon on the left to reorder your links into your desired preference.

You can find the link list ANS schema here.
Related Content
You can use related content to associate content with a story that does not warrant the level of being included in the actual body of the story. For example, related content can power a PageBuilder feature on the article page that contains other stories, galleries, or videos for the reader to see on the article page.
Note
Related content is also used to associate content, such as images, to be sent alongside the article for the article in print.
How do you add it to a story?
Navigate to the right nav bar in Composer and click the Related Items icon. Expand to see the related items that you can choose to associate with the story.
