Clipping a live stream video
With Video Center, you can create video clips from your live streams. Whether you’re capturing standout moments or sharing key highlights, the platform lets you set precise cut-in and cut-out points, giving you complete control to craft the perfect clip in real time.
When clipping from a live stream, you have additional tools at your disposal to navigate back through the live stream buffer. In the bottom-right corner of the clipping interface, you can use the zoom slider to widen the current clipping window. By default, the clipping tool loads the most recent hour of your live stream, but you can increase that to up to seven hours.
Note
Because the default clipping window is one hour (but can be as long as seven hours depending on your selection), if you attempt to clip a live stream during a live stream when an hour has not passed, the clipping window still defaults to an hour. For example, if your live stream starts at 10:00 AM and you attempt to create a clip at 10:05 AM, the clip window is 9:05 AM to 10:05 AM; however, the screen is blank from 9:05 to 10:00 AM. To remove the blank screen, you must drag the start marker to 10:00 AM to create the clip.
