Excluding Stories from Clavis Recommendations
If you want to exclude a specific article from being recommended by Clavis, it is easy to label your articles in Composer using a Kicker/Label on an article. Any article tagged with a Clavis ‘Hide’ label is not included in Clavis recommendations.
To add the Hide label, you first need to set up a Clavis Hide label in Composer Settings:
From the Composer, click Settings.
In the Kickers/Labels section, click New Label Type.
Enter the label type name as clavis (lowercase), and click OK. You now see ‘clavis’ selected in the drop-down menu.
Click New Label.
In the text field, enter hide.
In the top right corner of the page, click Save.
Next, tag any article you want to be excluded with the Clavis Hide label.
Navigate to the Meta tab on your Composer story.
Under Kickers/Labels, select hide in the clavis drop-down menu.
Save and Publish or Update your story.
Now that your story includes the Clavis Hide label, it is no longer included in your Clavis recommendations results. If you want to include the story again, simply remove the label and republish the story. Clavis updates every 15 minutes, so it may take up to 15 minutes to see changes reflected on previously published stories.
