Reviewing Image Resizer usage
The Resizer Usage dashboard provides information about your Image Resizer usage and helps you track your progress in migrating to Image Resizer V2.
The dashboard defaults to displaying data from the past 24 hours; however, you can choose a different time frame, anywhere from the past 15 minutes to three months.
To access the Resizer Usage dashboard, navigate to Delivery > Dashboards > Resizer.
Migration Status section
The Migration Status section helps you track your progress in transitioning from Resizer V1 to Resizer V2.
The Total Hits section shows you the number of images requested by Resizer V1 and V2 for the time period you chose. The dashboard displays the data in both a donut chart and in table format.
Because the goal is to fully migrate to Resizer V2, you want the majority of your requests to use V2.
Image Performance section
The Image Performance section provides insights into key metrics that impact your site's speed and efficiency. By comparing data from Resizer V1 and V2, you can assess performance trends and identify areas for optimization.
This chart displays the average Time to First Byte (TTFB) for your images in Resizer V1 and Resizer V2. TTFB measures the time it takes for a user's browser to receive the first byte of image data after making a request. Comparing TTFB performance between Resizer versions can help you identify opportunities for improved image delivery speed and overall site performance.
Object Size Average
This chart displays the average file size of your images in Resizer V1 and Resizer V2. Monitoring object size helps you understand the impact of image weight on performance. Comparing sizes across Resizer versions can reveal opportunities to optimize your images for faster load times and improved user experience.
