Arc XP Browser Support
The Arc XP platform has three different aspects of browser support:
Arc XP-hosted sites
Sites created by the Arc XP Experience Suite can support any browsers you need based on the way you write and test your web application code in PageBuilder. We also have a native mobile SDK for Android and iOS if you want to provide a specialized experience for mobile users.
Arc XP Admin tools
The Arc XP administrative tools used by authors, editors, producers, and developers are currently designed and tested for support with the current version of Google Chrome. While many browsers with similar technology stacks may work (like Safari and Firefox), we do not actively test against those browsers. You can view information on triaging browser-based problems at Triaging a Single User
Desktop Browser | Arc XP Admin tools |
|---|---|
Chrome | Yes |
Edge | No* |
Firefox | No* |
Safari | No* |
* Arc XP Tools may work on these browsers, but we do not test using them.
Mobile device support
Arc XP Admin tools are fully supported on desktop browsers.
While some applications may offer a better user experience or responsiveness than others, all core functionality is designed and tested for desktop use with Chrome as the primary supported browser. Although certain apps may be accessible on smaller or mobile devices, they are not optimized for those screen sizes, and many editorial workflows may not function as intended outside of a desktop environment.
