WebSked Search API deprecation

This deprecation was originally announced in January 2024.

Since its inception, WebSked has maintained its own Search APIs. In an effort to consolidate endpoints and reduce duplication, the WebSked team is deprecating this API. However, you can still query for most of the same data using Content API. This transition takes place on the following dates:

  • Sandbox - Tuesday, May 27, 2025

  • Production - Monday, June 2, 2025

Customer actions

Unless Arc XP has reached out to you directly, you do not need to take any action. If you want to start building integrations with Arc XP to query for content from a single website, you can continue to use the Content API endpoints. If you want to start building integrations to query for content from multiple websites at once, contact Arc XP Customer Support to set up the request with the WebSked and Content API teams.

The WebSked interface also uses this API. We are transitioning WebSked to also use Content API so there is no impact to the WebSked interface.
