Video Center: MediaStore deprecation
Deprecation date: November 13, 2025
On November 13, 2025, Amazon Web Services is discontinuing AWS Elemental MediaStore. All Arc XP Video Center Live Stream video services currently using MediaStore will need to be updated to use S3.
If you use cloud (server-side) encoding with HLS inputs, you must update your encoders to point to the new URLs.
If you use client-side encoding with
data.mediastore.*.amazonaws.comendpoints, you must update to the new storage and playback endpoints.
Key change
The endpoint URLs are changing from mediastore to s3 URLs.
Action required
You must update any endpoint from referencing the mediastore bucket to reference the s3 bucket. The new endpoint URLs, as well as detailed instructions, will be provided in October 2025.
