Video Center: MediaStore deprecation

Deprecation date: November 13, 2025

On November 13, 2025, Amazon Web Services is discontinuing AWS Elemental MediaStore. All Arc XP Video Center Live Stream video services currently using MediaStore will need to be updated to use S3.

  • If you use cloud (server-side) encoding with HLS inputs, you must update your encoders to point to the new URLs.

  • If you use client-side encoding with data.mediastore.*.amazonaws.com endpoints, you must update to the new storage and playback endpoints.

Key change

The endpoint URLs are changing from mediastore to s3 URLs.

Action required

To keep your Arc XP Live Streams running smoothly, you’ll need to update your settings to use new S3 endpoints.

Depending on your setup, you may need to update your inputs, your outputs, or both. Follow the steps below based on your case.
