Content API editorial fields deprecation notice

Deprecation date: February 3, 2025 (Sandbox and Production)

Arc XP is removing editorial fields from several Content API responses.

To ensure that any potentially sensitive information is not publicly available, you can currently filter out these fields by following the process described on How to ensure private editorial fields are not publicly available. We're enhancing the user experience by streamlining this workflow and making it safe by default.How to ensure private editorial fields are not publicly available

Note

The /scan endpoint still returns editorial fields because this endpoint is meant for administrative and reporting features with a lower rate limit. See Content API.

Removed fields:

  • inline_comments

  • planning (excluding story_length.*_actual)

  • workflow.note

  • additional_properties.comments

  • additional_properties.clipboard

  • additional_properties.firstPublishedBy

  • additional_properties.lastPublishedBy

  • additional_properties.owner

  • revision.user_id
