Identity Solutions and Workflows Overview

You need, with the least amount of friction, get users through the acquisition and registration process to understand and build the relationship with your users. This helps you build user profiles, understand engagement, and communicate effectively.

Arc XP Identity provides multiple registration options for you to offer your audience as a means to creating accounts. If you’re just starting, basic registration options are available with password and social identities. If you want more advanced options, we offer an integration to connect other sign-in providers and the ability to create single sign-on for external sites.

Note: Acquisition includes all the actions users take to connect with client products, not just registration and account creation. An acquisition method not handled by Identity is newsletter sign-up, and we provide extensible options for connecting to other tools in these cases.

Identity Management and Reporting

Identity Management: Account Deletion

Requests for deleting an account can come from users directly to your customer service representatives, through an online request or from automated systems. You also have the ability to configure rules for deleting accounts that have never been used or that have been inactive for a long period of time. For all deletion options, there is a check to confirm that there are no active subscriptions and all critical financial and tax information is anonymized. The user will need to contact support to cancel the subscription prior to the account deletion.

Once the deletion has been approved and completed, the account will be completely removed and all financial records anonymized. This cannot be undone and is permanent.

Reports

Identity includes the following reports:

  • Account Sign-Up Summary

  • Account Activity Last Login Details

  • Account Activity Last Modified Details

Migrating your current user accounts

The detailed steps for migrating accounts in Arc XP Identity are here and more information on the developer Migration API is available here.

To migrate your content, Arc XP Customer Support needs your current password hash and salt along with an example testing password. We use Keybase.io to share all sensitive information. Your agents can easily find and assist customers with all Identity and subscription-related issues that occur. Agents can search by Identity account or order number and view reader account details, subscriptions, and transactions.
