Setting your products' currency

Use the Currency page in Subscriptions Settings to set a default currency for your organization. The default currency appears at the top of the currency list when you configure products and offers. All currencies remain available to select. The default currency just appears first for ease.

If you change the default currency,

All currencies are available in the Price admin pages, but the default currency appears first.

Your news organization manages digital subscriptions across multiple countries. Most of your subscribers are based in the U.K., and your offers are almost always priced in GBP. While all currencies are available in Arc XP Subscriptions, your team often has to scroll past other currencies before selecting GBP when configuring new products and offers.

To streamline this process, you set GBP as the default currency in Subscriptions Settings. Now, when your marketing team creates new subscription offers, GBP automatically appears first, saving time and reducing the chance of selecting the wrong currency. Other currencies remain available if you need them, but your most common option is always at the top.

Procedure

To set a default currency for pricing, complete the following steps.

Updating the currency after you've already configured products or offers does not affect any existing listings. The default currency simply appears at the top of the currency options when configuring listings.

  1. Navigate to Subscriptions > Settings > General > Currency.

  2. Select a default currency from the drop-down menu.

  3. Click Save.
